Perfect Patio Placement In Your Yard

Patio placementWhere Should You Place Your Patio?

Having a patio can be a great place to entertain guests or a great place to put the broken down lawn mower depending on where it is in your yard and your regular use of it. To avoid your patio getting moldy and misused you will want to think about how close it is to your house, the scenery around it, and how you plan to use it.

What’s going on?

Do you plan to sip your morning coffee and listening to the birds from your patio or do you want it to have a Tiki bar and disco ball? Before you start building you will want to ask yourself questions like this so you can get the most use out of your outdoor living area.

Use will be the best way to maintain a beautiful patio. Make sure it is exactly what you need. This will encourage you to keep it clean, mold free, and ready to make all your guests’ jaws drop.

Is it pretty?

You want to make sure no matter what the view from your patio is a good one. Is it a cityscape? Your garden? Or is it the lake down the hill from your house? Whatever it is you will want to make sure it can be seen by your and your guests, no one wants to stare at a brick wall or a bunch of fence posts.

Making sure you have a beautiful view will also make you want to use your patio more and more. In the summer it can be a perfect place to watch the sunset or enjoy a warm night with your friends. Just be sure to bring some mosquito netting or a citronella candle!

Did you feel a rain drop?

You don’t want to be stranded far away from your home when a thunderstorm hits! In case your party goes late or there is in climate weather you will want the run back to your home to be shorter rather than longer.

Putting you patio closer to your home will also make it easier to use, to clean, and make it perfect for you. Since you don’t have to drag a leaf blower or dinner over the river and through the woods you will want to use it more often.

So start thinking about the perfect view of the sunset and the most level part of your yard. Once you’ve decided the location you will be able to light the tiki torches in no time!
